“We really enjoyed this excursion to Gouda, a working cheese farm and Oudewater. Steven was a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable about the area, the history and current events. He was very fun company and he escorted us to visit and explain the various sites we visited. Gouda is a lovely town, the birthplace of the Stroopwafel in addition to its famous cheese. We enjoyed sampling both. The visit to the dairy farm to learn about the business of cheese making was very interesting, especially since we are primarily city dwellers.
